Another Facebook Downtime 1

Here we go again. A few moments of Facebook down time created confusion, havoc and snarl. Thus, the terms Facebook log in, Facebook down, Facebook not working, Facebook down today and other Facebook down time concerns landed up at the Google trends.

The thing was, the reason for Facebook down time was to roll out some new features and prototype. The problem, it appears that the roll out was made too soon. As Facebook twitted “Some internal prototypes were exposed to people and resulted in us disabling the site briefly. It is now back to normal.”

Blake Edwards is dead. 2

Blake Edwards was born in July 26, 1922. He was married and divorced once before he married his equally famous wife Julie Andrews. The two made several projects together, including the musical adaptation of victor/ Victoria.

On December 15, 2010, Blake Edwards died of complications of pneumonia. He died at the Saint John’s Health Center in California with his wife and children by his side. When he was alive, Blake Edwards describe his struggle with the chronic fatigue syndrome.

The loss of Hollywood’s one of the most talented people is heartbreaking not only to the family but as much with the fans. You will be greatly missed, Blake Edwards. Thanks to your movies you will leave on until generations to come.

Blake Edwards died. He was 88 year old. We remember Blake Edwards as the award winning director of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s would be Blake Edwards’ diamond on his career. He gave Audrey Hepburn the star status. Breakfast at Tiffany’s was an Oscar-nominated screenplay. In the movie, Audrey Hepburn also introduced the film’s mark, Moon River.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s starred Audrey Hepburn, George Peppard, Patricia Neal, Buddy Ebsen, Martin Balsam, and Mickey Rooney. Among the stars of the famous movie, Blake Edwards was one of the last who were alive. Another one would be Mickey Rooney.

The Florida Shooting Incident 1

It was just another day at the school board, or so they thought. Until Clay Duke came into the picture. This more than half-crazed man glazed with a gun threatened the Florida school board shooting with a semi-automatic hand gun.

Some claims Clay Duke was an ex-con. I just say that he is a looney. He claims that his wife got fired by the board and that he was there to make things even. And so he sprayed paint on the wall with the V sign replicating the sign from the movie Vendetta.

Winner of the Biggest Loser 2

Patrick House of Biggest Loser season 10 lost a total of 10.25% of his body weight. In all, he placed 4th in percentage lost but his was the biggest among the finalist as such became the Biggest Loser 2010.

So, maybe I don’t really buy the lines of Biggest Loser contestants that they are not doing it for the money but for a change. And the show probably doing it all for the money. Whatever it is that motivates them boils down to one thing. Money. Or two – ratings, which also equals to money.

Patrick House is Biggest Loser’s biggest winner this season.

I like Biggest Loser even if only for the hopes and second chances for the obese the show gives. And the challenges are overwhelming! Not to mention the temptations which work as bribe for the contestants.

But ofcourse there are issues surrounding the Biggest Loser. When we (that would be me and mini me) talk about it, we often say that it is a contest of ‘what you wouldn’t do for money.’ Because of the amount at stake, contestants try to push themselves up to risking their health. Biggest Loser season 1 Ryan Benson admitted that aside from the rigid physical activities, he and other contestant starve themselves and Benson even limit his water intake until he was pissing blood. Bigger Loser third season Kai Hibbard said the contestants would drink as little as possible a day before weigh-in. Both Benson and Hibbard regained their original weighs.

The Infanticipating of Mariah 2

Monday night, the very obvious pregnant Mariah Carey appeared on her own musical special with the baby bump. More, she wasn’t wearing her usual tight things but was adorned by a silky Santa-inspired blouse loose on the middle section. Not necessarily a maternity dress but it did the job! Mariah Carey still fab –though preggy.

During an interview, husband Nick Cannon who is 11 years her junior said that they are already starting to think of baby names, though they are not quite sure if the baby is a boy or a girl.

Okay, so this writer hopes that those mentioned are enough reason to bring your sleepy heads to watching the meteor shower. It is a guaranteed entertainment, prepare not to get disappointed. Weather permitting and if the sky is clear, enthusiast should be able to see 50 to 80 meteors per hour. The most sensational display comes around midnight till before the breaking of dawn Thursday.

If you don’t have that view, don’t be sad. Meteor shower Ursids is set to show its radiant right after the Gemenid meteor shower. Enjoy watching and fun with this experience! You don’t want to miss the Geminid meteor shower!

It’s official! A little cannon ball is on the way! That is right, so for those of you who are asking is Mariah Carey pregnant –Mimi answered with “Yes, we are pregnant.”

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon made the announcement on “Today” saying that the baby isn’t due until spring. Spring? I thought she is far off than that. I remember her during her fall during the F1 concert in Singapore. Mariah Carey had that preggy figure. Or so I thought. Well, as Nick Cannon once said, whatever his wife wants to say whenever, she will say it. And so she did.
