Metrodome Collapsed! 2
The Metrodome is the home for Minnesota Vikings and the Minnesota Twins baseball. The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers also use the Metrodome during game time.
A huge amount of snow accumulation contributed to the Metrodome collapse. Atleast 14 inches of snow caused creases and damage to three Teflon panels and a deflation of the dome. Before the collapse, workers tried to work overnight on the roof but was called off when it turned out to be dangerous. Over the course of time, the Metrodome was damaged five times due to weather conditions. But this time, the damage was severe than the rest. Part of the roof as seen on the video collapsed 5am on Sunday.
