Attack on Pearl Harbor Remembered – 1
December 7 marks the morning the Japanese launched a surprise attack on the US Naval Base at Pearl Harbor. The attack led to the death of 2,400 Americans and the loss and destruction of some 21 ships. The attack on Pearl Harbor marked the beginning of more hostile relationships between America and Japan and World War II.
But we only remember the attack on Pearl Harbor as a dim part from our history. Today, we remember and honor our brothers and family we lost on that fateful day at Pearl Harbor.
And talking about Pearl Harbor comes to mind the movie with the same title. You know, the one that Ben Affleck and Josh Harnet starred at. I am particularly interested in the attack of Pearl Harbor because I grew up with my Dad recalling the incident. He was nine years old that time and he will recount the news they heard over the radio.
